In memory

Meet The Happy Teacher

Temitope Ogunniyi dedicated more than 15 years of her life to education in Nigeria.

She worked as an educator, School Improvement Consultant and advocate for better teaching. As a Microsoft Certified Educator, she studied and taught alternative approaches to education and supported the professional development and recognition of teachers across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Five years after her passing, The Happy Project was created to honour her by carrying that work forward.

Where the money goes

Let It Shine Academy

LISA is a free secondary school providing quality education to children from underserved communities in Lagos. Without this support, their education might end when they can no longer afford school fees.

All direct donations and 100% of campaign profits will go to LISA. ₦5,000,000 will not meet every need the school has, but it is a meaningful first milestone.
